AAA Pools, LLC, the area’s only full service pool builder, has been building dreams since 1970. When a family makes the decision to purchase a pool, they take the first step to beautifying their backyard.  A swimming pool keeps our children safe by keeping them home in our own backyards.  Your yard becomes your own outdoor paradise, where you don’t even need to leave home to go on vacation. Your own personal retreat is just a few steps away from your back door. AAA Pools strives to protect your investment by providing the best materials and workmanship possible. All construction work is performed in-house. The owners, Richard Shaver and Carol, truly care about your family and its pool, and will be there to ensure your family enjoys a lifetime of happiness.  In fact, referrals make up 90% of his business. Given they’ve been in business for 37 years, this is quite a track record! 

Richard Shaver first began his career at age fifteen as a lifeguard.  By age sixteen, he began building pools.  About a year later, the company he worked for lost its business.  So, at age seventeen, Richard began building pools for himself.  Over the years, he has built hundreds of pools in the surrounding area, including, but not limited to, the Eastern Shore, the Bay Bridge area, the beltway area, and many locations throughout Caroline, King George, Rappahannock, Spotsylvania, and Stafford counties.  

Richard is fully certified in all aspects.  He is a member of the Association of Pools and Spas Professionals (APSP), which regulates its associates with a strict code of business ethics. The mission of APSP members is to deliver the highest quality of customer service and industry products so that the public will have a safe and enjoyable recreational water experience.   Richard is also certified in concrete work through Increte Systems.  Richard stays abreast of his product and service delivery by continuing his education annually.  Areas of study include soils and its effect on pools, chemicals, and water purity and clarification.  His knowledge and expertise in these areas helps him to build you the best quality pool possible.

POOL STYLES AND MATERIALS

AAA Pools wants your pool to reflect your family’s dream. Pools are custom built according to your preference. Customers may select from vinyl liner, fiberglass, concrete, or above ground swimming pools. 

Vinyl Liner Pools
Regale vinyl pool liners are available in a wide range of styles and colors to dazzle your pool’s look. Vinyl liner pools offer the best value for your money. These liners are designed to maintain their beauty and endurance for many, many years to come. Standard liners are made from heavy weight 20 milliliters of virgin vinyl, bringing you the best quality available.

Structural Walls
All of our vinyl liner pools are structured with polymer walls. These walls are structural polymer, which is a material that has replaced many raw materials once used in furniture, automobile parts, and even spacecraft. Structural polymer is made from a process which injects hi-impact polystyrene resin into a huge press. This material expands under pressure forming a very hard, solid core material with flexible strength. Because of its flexibility, this material works very well as a pool structure because it expands with the ground’s natural processes, minimizing any cracking that you may see in pools with concrete structures.  Unlike steel wall constructions, which have a tendency to rust, this tough material is made to stand the test of time.  We guarantee a lifetime warranty on the vinyl liner pool’s structure. 

Fiberglass Pools
Fiberglass pools can be installed in the shortest amount of time. They are shipped as a one piece in ground composite swimming pool.  Because of its strength, the manufacturer offers a lifetime warranty on the structure of its fiberglass pools. The smooth finish coat is warranted for 7 years. There are various styles and sizes available.  

Above Ground Pools 
Above ground pools are the least expensive investment for your home. We sell and install Swim n’ Play style pools, available in round or oval styles. These pools are available in many sizes (see chart below). This pool has 10 inch ledges and wrap around molded resin covers and pedestal. It has a vinyl shield coated galvanized steel frame and Cristex Coated galvanized steel wall that earned the prestigious “Seal of Approval” from the Rust-Oleum® Corporation for its superior metal protection. This manufacturer offers warranties up to 35 years and offers no charge for parts for the first three seasons.

POOL REPAIRS AND COMPLETE POOL REHABILITATION

We do everything from minor repairs to complete pool makeovers.  Repair and renovation projects include, but are never limited to:
